Yes, we have academic year of admission June to May and Calendar year of Admission from January to December.
- What are the requirements for admission?
Original Certificates of Marks or Xerox Copies
We need attested copies signed by Gazetteed officers or equivalent to (The Principal, Head Master etc)
We need the Mark List of passed certificates (eligible)
The Schooling or the University should be a recognized one
If we come to know the fake of their studies, we are not responsible. Hence a certificate by the candidate is essential for admission (Copy enclosed)
+2, or 10th Passed mark list or T.C is required for his age proof
- Do you allow to change the subject / Course in the middle of the studies of the
Degree?
Students are permitted to change his/her course even in the III year, provided he/she should write all the papers for e.g. a student who studied history, now desires to change to B.B.A in the III year or II year, he is allowed provided he should pay Rs.300/- for change of course fee to the University. He should produce the mark list.
- Do you allow Dual Degree system? For e.g. a student who is studying in the regular
college wants to join in the Institute of Distance Education, Do you allow her?
Yes, we permit Dual Degree system. If he/she is studying in the College, he/she can join by giving bonafide certificate from the college principal. He/she can join any of the courses. The UGC also recommends for this study for e.g. a Student who is studying BE/BA/B.Com can join in any of the course
Hence, we have introduced BA/M.A Indian Administration, which is highly useful for all the students, who are aspiring for IAS, IPS, IFS or TNPSC/UPSC/Railway Recruitment/ Bank Recruitment Even students of P.G can join for Diploma in Indian Administration. We give books to the students for all subjects
Medium of Studies.
- Do you have any other medium other than English?
We have English medium. Since, Chennai is a place of multi linguistic, we have demand for Tamil, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi and Telugu medium. But, we have prepared books to English Medium and subsequently, we will give books for other medium also

- When do you publish the result
We will publish within 15 days of the last exam, Result will be announced
- Do you issue separate mark list for each year of exam?
We give mark list for each year. If the student requires consolidated mark list, he can get the consolidated mark list by paying Rs.300/-
- If a student writes in lateral entry, whether he can get consolidated mark list?
He can get a consolidated or separate mark list for each year provided he should have appeared all the papers.
- Do you allow to write in Bengali medium?
Since, many students from Chennai want to write in Hindi as well as in Bengali medium, we allow students to write the answer in Tamil, Bengali, Hindi, Punjabi, and English Medium.
- How do you publish the result?
We will publish within 15 days on the web itself, simultaneously, we will send the mark list to the students address by speed post
- Since, some students want to join from different universities, do you allow exemption from some papers which they passed?
Of course, we magnanimously allow the Languages part I and II provided they passed earlier, regarding failed papers, they have to appear again further, for the Part III subjects, if papers which are available in our University are passed, they need not write all the papers relevantly to their course offered in our University
- Do you have fixed time for exam?
For the convenience of the students especially girls who want to write exam in Chennai have to take exam carefully on the fixed date. Hence we will inform you two months before in advance all the dates of exam.
- How do we get the identity card and what is the procedure to get it if there a loss?
Student's identity card will be issued. For any loss of certificates, they can pay a penalty and on the spot he can get the Identity card
- How do we pay the payment?
All the payment and fee would be in the form of D.D only. The Registrar, IDE, MAHER, Chennai
- When and where would be classes?
All the classes will be conducted on Saturday and Sunday between 10 am to 5 pm in the University campus
